School Dinners

From Monday July 2nd 2018, our school caterers will be Blake and Edwards. Mrs Moffat, our Head of Kitchen and her team will remain but will work with different menus, different local suppliers and with some new equipment.

A significant change is that the kitchen will cook the meals that you have pre-ordered, so there will be minimal waste and you and your child will be able to consider and make meal choices beforehand. Our aim in making this change is to increase the selection of meals on offer and thereby the uptake of healthy meals eaten at school.

We are hoping that the number of children who eat school lunches will continue to increase as the school continues to provide healthy, well balanced, locally sourced and attractively presented meals,  which represent very good value at £2.30 per day/£11.50 a week, but which are free of charge for all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children and free school meal children (see below).

You will need to login to ParentPay by midnight every Sunday to make your child’s meal selection for the following week and, if needed, payment.  The school will then ensure that your child is served the meal that they have chosen each day.
